Rank STR vs PriceLabs Listing Optimizer
PriceLabs Listing Optimizer and Rank STR both score an Airbnb listing and rank the fixes. PriceLabs brings far more market data and sits inside a full revenue platform, but prices per listing and does not publish the rate. Rank STR is $9.99 a month flat for unlimited listings, with the first report free and no account to connect.
Pricing below was read from PriceLabs's own site on 26 July 2026. Prices change — check theirs before deciding.

Where PriceLabs is better
These are real capabilities we do not have. If one of them is what you came for, PriceLabs is the right choice.
- Vastly more market data
- PriceLabs is a revenue-management company first. Their optimizer draws on comp-set and market data at a scale we do not attempt — we read your listing’s public page, and that is the honest boundary of what we see.
- It is part of a full revenue platform
- If you also want dynamic pricing, minimum-stay automation, and market dashboards, buying them from one vendor is a real advantage. We do not do any of those things.
- Historical ranking trends
- Their product page describes tracking ranking trends over time. Rank STR gives you a point-in-time analysis, not a time series.
- Multi-platform coverage
- PriceLabs works across Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. Rank STR accepts Airbnb URLs only.
Where Rank STR is better
- Flat pricing instead of per listing
- We charge $9.99 a month for unlimited listings. Per-listing pricing gets progressively more expensive as you add properties; ours does not change.
- You can see the price before you sign up
- Their Listing Optimizer page states it is "priced per listing using a tiered structure" without giving the rate. Ours is on the pricing page.
- No account to connect
- Paste a listing URL and read the report. No Airbnb OAuth, no PMS integration, no trial signup before you see whether the output is any good.
- A report you can share
- Every report has a public link you can send to a co-host, a cleaner, or a client without giving them your account.
Which one should you use?
Choose PriceLabs if…
You manage several properties, you want dynamic pricing and market data from the same vendor, and a per-listing fee on top of a pricing subscription is worth it for the depth.
Choose Rank STR if…
You have one to a handful of Airbnb listings, you want to know what to fix today, and you would rather not connect an account or start a trial to find out.
Common questions
- How much does PriceLabs Listing Optimizer cost?
- Their product page states it is priced per listing using a tiered structure but does not publish the rate, and it is not listed on their public pricing page either. Their Dynamic Pricing product showed $14.49 per listing per month when we checked on 26 July 2026, and PriceLabs prices differently by region, so treat any single figure with caution and check their site. Rank STR is $9.99 a month flat for unlimited listings.
- Is PriceLabs Listing Optimizer better than Rank STR?
- For market data and historical ranking trends, yes — that is their strength and we do not compete on it. For getting a specific, prioritized list of fixes for one Airbnb listing without connecting an account, Rank STR is faster and cheaper. They are aimed at different-sized operations.
- Do I need a PriceLabs subscription to use their optimizer?
- Listing Optimizer is priced separately per listing, on top of whatever else you use from them. Because the rate is not published, the total cost of running it alongside Dynamic Pricing is not something you can calculate before signing up.
- Can Rank STR replace PriceLabs?
- Not if you use PriceLabs for pricing. We do not set rates, forecast demand, or manage minimum stays, and we would not suggest dropping a pricing tool for a listing analyzer. Plenty of hosts run a pricing tool and a listing analyzer side by side.
